Took it out for a test spin

It runs pretty good! The timing is off a little and I need to adjust
the clutch, but it runs great. (that's not my oil under the bike).

After running the bike up to about 40 or 50mph, it loosened up and
stopped smoking. Pretty stoked!!

Special thanks to Lane, Todd and Bill Holland. Lane scored this motor
for me, Todd helped me do all the work and Bill straightened my front
end and put new/old rockers on it for me. All in all, the bike is
JUST about complete. :) Now it just needs some miles put on it.

Matching recliner

Now all we need is a matching set of teak or walnut end/coffee tables.

It's the Astoria bridge up in Oregon. I've only been on it once, but I
think it will be sweet on a bike.

got a sofa we're going to keep.  Not to mention it matches our painting perfectly!!  :)

The person we got this from was the grand-daughter of the original owner.  Her grandmother never let anyone sit on it and had a cover on it.  It is 9'6" and is the first thing that didn't completely fit in the van.  Should have gotten the 15 passenger!  Good thing I'm picking up a 6x12' trailer tonight for future lengthy purchases.

Progress

Made a lot of progress on the bike tonight. Thanks Todd!! Didn't have
to redo the fender for the new wheel and tire. Stoked!!

The wheel looks SOOO good on the bike. :)

When I was 4 months old...

my parents took a trip to Hawaii. They brought this back for my
grandpa. Last night (28 years later) my 86 year old grandmother gave
it to me. Pretty sweet.

Back on the lift

Putting motor number 5 in it. If they weren't so god damn cheap/free,
I might rebuild one.

Found out WHY the other motor blew up. There was some chunks of paper
in the oil (????) and that must have clogged the top end passage ways.
Not good.

It's worked for 2 years. I wonder where I picked it up?
